Arshad Nadeem Breaks Olympic Record With A 92.97m Throw

He made history when Arshad Nadeem threw the javelin 92.97 meters at the Olympics. His throw was not only the best of all time but also the longest in the event’s history.

In the final round, Neeraj Chopra threw the javelin 89.45 meters, while Anderson Peters of Grenada threw it 87.87 meters.

He set his best time in this race and also broke the record for the 90-meter race at the World Athletics Championship.

He threw 88.72 meters on his third try, which was short of his personal best in the second throw. The Pakistani Javelin player has a great chance to win gold at the Olympics.

The top 12 athletes have made it to the final. Five of the six throwers in group B went straight to the final round, and four athletes who hit the 84-meter mark did the same.

People in Pakistan think Arshad Nadeem is their best chance because he won a silver medal at the 2023 World Championships and the 2022 Commonwealth Games. He also made history when he won a gold medal, becoming the first Pakistani athlete to do an event like that since 1962.

Arshad could win the Olympic gold medal, which would be the first time since 1988 that a Pakistani athlete has won an individual prize.
